My Story

I’ve built a career in digital communications and marketing for impactful organizations, rooted in an interest in and curiosity about how storytelling can move people, define the trajectories of movements, shift paradigms, and make history.

After honing my copywriting and grassroots fundraising strategy chops at a Washington, DC-based campaign fundraising firm, I moved into the non-profit space. I was eager to translate my fundraising experience into the innovative world of digital marketing, and leapt at the opportunity to shine a light on programs and initiatives that drive change beyond campaign cycles.

In my role at a global non-profit that trains, connects, and invests in impact-creating entrepreneurs, I spearheaded the digital communications and marketing strategy for programs and initiatives straddling tech, non-profits, corporate foundations, and investors. I also gained an interest in how the interconnected web of non-profit organizations, for-profit companies, philanthropies, and government can drive change.

I’ve collaborated with teammates around the world and across time zones as a remote worker since 2020, and currently live in Minneapolis, Minnesota. Outside of work, you can find me puttering in my garden (ask me about accidentally growing a backyard pumpkin patch), baking gluten-free breads and treats (ask me about baking my own wedding cake), diving headfirst into chaotic craft projects (ask me about my intergenerational ceramics class), whacking balls around the tennis court (ask me about my sweet community tennis center), and yapping about how reality TV is actually important pop culture (ask me about why Survivor is essential viewing).
